The Elektrogas VMR series is the most widely specified slow-opening gas valve in European-designed industrial burner installations. The 1-second opening time (DN15–DN50) prevents downstream pressure spikes during ignition sequences — a safety-critical property on large-capacity gas trains where fast-opening valves risk ignition overshoot. VMR valves are EN 161 / EN 88 certified and specified by burner OEMs including FBR, Riello, Cib Unigas, and Weishaupt on their standard gas-train configurations.

The highest-turnover Elektrogas sizes are available for prompt supply: VMR 15 through VMR 50 for standard commercial burner racks, VMR 65 through VMR 100 for larger industrial gas trains, and the matching VFR gas filters and VPR pressure regulators. Elektrogas multibloc assemblies (combined filter + regulator + double solenoid valve in a single pipe-mounted unit) reduce installation labour and leak paths compared to assembling discrete components — the MB-D range in DN20 through DN65 is available. Less-common sizes and high-pressure VMH variants have a factory lead time on request.
